I want the best schools in the nation (not 47th in funding per student)
I want strong hospitals and healthy Texans (and stop the 20+ from closing)
I want to keep our families safe (during floods, freezes and hurricanes)
I want our leaders to work together (and go to lunch every once in a while)
I want a new way of doing things in Austin (and a Governor we’re proud of)

Note from Andrew
I recently announced my campaign for Governor of Texas as an Independent Democrat. My message is simple: it’s time to rise above the culture wars and focus on what matters — our schools, our hospitals, and our infrastructure. I’ve spent 30 years as an entrepreneur, and I’m ready to bring that same results-driven leadership to Austin.
Every organization reflects the culture of its leader. After 12 years under Governor Abbott, that culture is failing Texans.
- Schools: Texas now ranks 47th in education. Instead of fixing public schools, Abbott fought moderates in his own party to send $1 billion to private schools.
- Hospitals: Twenty hospitals have gone bankrupt because he rejected $10-for-$1 federal healthcare funding — costing Texas hospitals $100 billion in lost revenue.
- Infrastructure: During Winter Storm Uri, Abbott made a five-day, $45 billion mistake that Texans will pay for on their electric bills for the next 30 years.
Texans deserve better. I’m running to bring common-sense leadership, heal our divisions, and rebuild a Texas that works for everyone.
I hope you’ll join me — as a supporter, a partner, and a believer in what Texas can be again.
